What are the tabs in the Vaelix control panel for? Open your server and you will see a set of tabs on the left. Which ones appear depends on your game, but these are the ones the guides refer to.
| Tab | What it is for | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Network | Lists every port allocated to your server, including the game, Query, and RCON ports. Use it as the reference when a game asks for a port. | Ports, Query, and RCON |
| Startup | Startup parameters such as ports, the RCON password, the Java version, and the Rust framework. | Rust networking setup |
| Settings | Server details, including the SFTP Information card with your connection string and username. | Connecting via sFTP |
| File Manager | Browse, edit, upload, and extract files in your browser. | Migrating your world |
| Subdomains | Create a free name.vaelix.cloud address for your server. |
Custom domains and SRV records |
| Minecraft Versions | Change the Minecraft server version (Minecraft servers). | Migrating your world |
| Game Players | Player management. It depends on a working RCON connection. | Ports, Query, and RCON |
| Plugins | Install and update Oxide plugins (Rust, after switching the framework to Oxide). | uMod plugins on Rust |
| Palworld Settings | Visual editor for Palworld server options, including the REST API. | Palworld REST API |
Your panel also includes a scheduler, which can restart the server or run other tasks on a timer.
Tip: If a tab from this table is missing, it usually means it does not apply to your game, or a prerequisite (like switching to the Oxide framework on Rust) has not been done yet.
